Disability Law United Files Federal Lawsuit Seeking Accountability for Disability Rights Violations in ICE Detention

Disability Law United, together with Pangea Legal Services, has filed a federal lawsuit alleging disability rights violations and other unlawful conduct arising from an immigration enforcement action and subsequent immigration detention.

The lawsuit seeks accountability for alleged excessive force, inadequate medical care, denial of disability accommodations, and disability discrimination during detention. It also seeks relief for the harms suffered by the plaintiffs.
