Update: Please read our announcement appointing a new Executive Director here.
Dear Disability Law United Friends,
We are very excited to tell you that Disability Law United will soon be hiring our replacement! Disability Law United has started the search for a new executive director, who will take over the position that we have co-held since we founded Disability Law United in 2013.
Here is a link to the job posting. Please circulate it to your networks and others who might be interested in applying.
We started Disability Law United to continue litigating impact civil rights cases, and to expand the educational work we did not have the bandwidth for as a private law firm. Since then, Disability Law United has grown significantly, adding the Immigration Detention Accountability Project and formalizing our disability rights work into the Accessibility Project. We are confident in and enthusiastic about Disability Law United’s strength as an organization, and believe that this is the right time — for the organization and for the two of us personally — to hire a new executive director to lead Disability Law United forward.
This transition permits us to do what we love the most: litigate civil rights cases. After the new ED is in place, we will be returning to private practice as Fox & Robertson, remaining on Disability Law United’s Board of Directors, and hoping to spend a lot of time co-counseling with the awesome lawyers at Disability Law United.
We appreciate your interest in and support for Disability Law United.
All best,
Tim and Amy
